FREE Well-Being Lunch and Learn - "Strategies for Managing the Mania"

March 20, 2026 - 12PM to 1PM live online via Zoom

Objectives:  Attorney Joseph Bugni will discuss strategies for managing stress and anxiety in busy legal environments. Bugni is an attorney at Hurley Burish, focusing on trial and appellate litigation in both civil and criminal matters. He previously spent thirteen years with the Federal Defender’s Office where he handled over 600 federal cases and over 60 appeals.

FREE Well-Being Lunch and Learn - "Master Your Money - Managing Finances to Support Attorney Well-Being" Although not approved for CLE credit, we hope you will still consider attending this valuable session. Improving personal financial literacy and stability has proven positive impacts on overall well-being and mental health. Additionally, many personal financial topics and tips can also apply to finances within law practices.

Objectives:  Attorney Rho Thomas is an attorney and money coach helping lawyers manage their money and grow their net worth to create more freedom and choice in their lives. The learning objectives of her session include identifying the connection between financial stress and its impact on attorney well-being, analyzing common financial challenges faced by legal professionals, implementing practical strategies in personal finances, and evaluating how proactive money management can help alleviate stress..

    CHANGE TO SBWCPTM RENEWAL REQUIREMENTS

    The total number of continuing legal education (CLE) credits required has increased from 12 to 15 (including 3 ethics and professional responsibility (EPR) credits).

    State Bar of Wisconsin Certified Paralegal (SBWCP) certifications up for renewal on July 1, 2024, will require 15 CLE credits (included 3 ethics credits) by that date. Please see the Recertification Process page for additional information.
