Dane County Bar Association The Dane County Bar Association is looking for Spanish-speaking volunteers to assist with two clinics that occur at the Dane County Courthouse. The Small Claims Assistance Program occurs on Tuesdays from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and the Family Law Assistance Clinic occurs on Wednesdays from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. These walk-in clinics aim to give brief limited legal information and advice, as well as assistance in filling out court forms, to individuals without attorneys. Volunteers may be attorneys, paralegals, or law students. The Small Claims Assistance Program has a high need for new volunteers and no prior small claims experience is necessary. Please contact Jenniferbinkley@yahoo.com with scheduling questions and to sign up for a shift! Sunshine Legal Clinic The Sunshine Legal Clinic is a growing volunteer clinic based in Dane County. We are seeking volunteer assistance with setting up clinic appointments. The tasks include coordinating phone consultations between clients and volunteer lawyers. The person would work with the client's volunteer coordinator to match appropriate lawyers with clients. The work can be done online and on your schedule.
