PAW MEMBERSHIP RENEWAL REMINDER:

PAW membership runs on a calendar-year basis. As January approaches, we kindly remind you to renew your membership for the upcoming year.

We also recognize that the holiday season can be a challenging time for some. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, please know you’re not alone and that support is available. The Wisconsin State Bar offers assistance through WisLAP (wisbar.org/WisLAP) and the Wisconsin Dept of Health Services provides additional mental health resources and support.

We wish you and your loved ones peace, good health, and all the best in the coming year.

cle event from THE OFFICE OF LAWYER REGULATION

FREE Well-Being Lunch and Learn - "Leading Well in Law - Mindsets to Engage, Retain, & Inspire Your Team"

January 21, 2026 - 12PM to 1PM live online via Zoom

Objectives:  Paula will share mindsets leaders must develop to create thriving team cultures. She will share insights and practical tips from her second book, "Lead Well: 5 Mindsets to Engage, Retain, & Inspire Your Team". Persistent uncertainty, the implementation and scaling of AI technology, and a shifting legal landscape continue to drive high stress in the legal profession. That means leaders and legal professionals must think differently about how to build thriving cultures. In this session, Paula will explain the mindsets that help legal professionals (1) identify and address the root causes of stress and disengagement; (2) help teams of all sizes perform at their best; and (3) navigate ongoing change, complexity, and uncertainty. Each of the mindsets will be supported by easy-to-implement, research-backed strategies called TNTs (tiny noticeable things).
