Join Jim Bria, Senior Forensic Weather Expert, and Kim Fisher, Meteorologist, of CompuWeather for an insightful presentation.
Participants will gain a practical understanding of how weather evidence can shape the outcome of legal matters. The program begins with an overview of the types of cases where weather plays a critical role, the services forensic meteorologists provide, and how to select the right expert for your case—along with examples of unusual and complex matters we’ve encountered.
Weather expert Jim Bria will then lead an in-depth truck accident case study, walking through his methodology, data sources, analytical approach, and conclusions. He will also address common challenges raised by opposing experts and how those are effectively countered.
By the end of the session, attendees will better understand when weather expertise is essential, how reliable opinions are developed, and how forensic meteorology can influence liability assessments and case outcomes.
